Detail that the G10 can produce are never seen before in compact camera. A testshooting at home with lots of fun.
GX200
Ricoh GXY series to me is not as good as GR in IQ. I like the way ricoh design cameras and the buit quality is outstanding but IQ is far better with the G10

at the moment i sometimes us the Metz MZ-4 with the G10. Not bad but I think the EX 58 works better.

with Ricoh GR in the disco

G10 with flash
Manual with flash not bad, but the LAB color from RPP is not the same as the shot really was. I wait for Lightroom update and after that I am looking what will happen with the quality of raw pictures.
G10 iso 400
yesterday in our thai noi restaurant. I had the G10 with me and made some iso 400 shots at f2.8 and 1/10 sec in raw. The picture is processed in Raw Photo Processor.

iso 400 raw and iso 400 jpg
This is a jpeg out of the camera with iso 400 f2,8 and 1/80 sec
This is a raw file post converted with RPP iso 400 f2,8 with 1/80 sec
To me the raw file is much sharper and the colors are better. The jpeg has less noise but with the cost of less detail.

RPP against ACR G10/G9
I have RPP as my favourite raw konverter and want to show how the software performs against Adobe ACR. let me know what you think about that?
the first picture
the first picture was shoot in our forest. I like the colors and the way the G10 works. I always use m as my default programm an low iso adjustment. There is not so much difference between G9 and G10 but i think the G10´s af responds a little bit faster. The wider angle of 28 mm is very nice.
Canon G10
Today i got my new G10. A cool gadget and i hope to make nice pic with her. I make a deep preview and want to know if the G10 is much better than the G9 which I also have. Ok let´s make the first pictures and post them her. Every day one picture.
